Porta-Pull’s “ALL NEW” Manual or Electric Series Cable Tuggers offer an affordable alternative to expensive and often bulky wire pulling systems. Both the 1500M and 2500M use standard pulling rope and can be operated Manually or Electrically with any 1/2" cordless or electric drill by simply removing the handle and installing the Power Adapter.

These Innovative pullers from Porta-Pull are ideal for electrical contractors with space limitations and smaller budgets. Makes quick work of branch circuits and power mains up to 500 MCM. Requires 2 person operation when using drill.

Assembly Instructions

Lay the main frame assembly down on a flat surface. Elevate frame approximately 2 inches off the surface with 2 x 4 blocks.

After removing Winch drum, set Winch onto frame with capstan facing forward and set Winch into place using guide pins. Finish by installing the 2 square U-bolts around the main frame and into the slots on the rear of Winch. Install U-bolt nuts and tighten securely.

Re-install Winch drum and handle.

Place boom tube and head assembly on a flat surface as shown in picture.

Remove clip, and 2 washers and Clevis pin from rear pulley assembly. (See illustration)

Slide head assembly into boom yoke as shown. Install Clevis pin thru all 3 parts and secure with clip.

After assembling the head, insert the front boom into the main frame as shown in picture....upper left. Install locking pin. Unit is now ready to begin wire pull.
