Set-up Instructions
Let's Start...
First... determine length of rigid conduit needed for pull. Insert conduit between head assembly and power unit. Tighten knobs securely.
Time: 20 Seconds
Next...
Position the Porta~Pull pivoting head assembly above the conduit connector you are pulling through.
Time: 10 Seconds
Now...
Remove the long lock pin from the head assembly and rotate head downward until the head is parallel and in line with the conduit. Re-insert locking pin. Place centering tab into conduit connector.
Don't forget to
Tighten the knob.
Time: 20 Seconds
Lastly...
Bring the rope down to and around the capstan. Finish by bringing the rope back up to and around the Right angle sheave. You are now ready to start the pull.
Time: 10 Seconds
Start pulling....usually in less than a minute!
