Product Use-Specifications
and Installation Procedures

Before removing insulation, insure that conductors are cut evenly and that wire is round in appearance. Remove 1 inch of insulation from wire and install Uni-Grip over exposed end.

Using a screwdriver, make a “V” along length of wire. Bring 1 or 2 wire strands back into the V using needle nose pliers. Finish by crimping all wires back together to close the V.

Bring Uni-Grip thru loop of harness and insert steel cables into Uni-Grip slots. Pull forward to tighten. To install ground wire, simply place around large main harness as shown and tape. Caution: Always install ground wire on last Uni~Grip in set.

After completing wire pull, grasp harness at front and work the harness backward to release. Remove harness from Uni-Grip. Cut wire directly behind Uni-Grip and remove insulation. Wire can now be easily removed from tool.
